El Reiki es invocar demonios que ofrecen sanación a través de supuestos seres angelicales o seres de luz que no están conectados a Dios.

¿Qué enseña la Iglesia sobre Reiki? ¿Qué es el Reiki? El Reiki es invocar demonios disfrazados de sanación que intentan oprimir al individuo haciéndolos caer en sus mentiras y queden atrapados para siempre para conducirlos a la perdición.
Si te vas a la sección de Metafísica de una librería convencional, observas que pueden tener muchos libros sobre filosofía, teología, oraciones, pero también podrás encontrar muchos libros que tratan de magia, hechizos, embrujos, Nueva Era, Reiki y otras formas de terapia.
Muchas personas que recurren a tales prácticas están desesperadas ante el sufrimiento; en lugar de recurrir a muchas de las prácticas devocionales del catolicismo y confiar en la Divina Providencia, se ven arrastradas por otros métodos que pretenden llevarles sanación, incluyendo las técnicas utilizadas por el movimiento de la Nueva Era y el Reiki.
El Comité de Doctrina de la Conferencia de Obispos Católicos de los Estados Unidos abordó el tema del uso del Reiki en su documento de 2009: "Guidelines for Evaluating Reiki as an Alternative Therapy".
Los obispos señalaron que la Iglesia reconoce dos tipos de sanación: la sanación por gracia divina y la sanación que utiliza los poderes de la naturaleza (medicinas extraídas de plantas o animales).

¿Qué es el Reiki?

Reiki es una técnica que afirma que la enfermedad es el resultado de una interrupción o desequilibrio en la "energía" de la vida de uno. A través de la posición de las manos, los practicantes de Reiki intentan canalizar la "energía vital universal" al paciente para su sanación y equilibrio. Mientras que los practicantes afirman que el Reiki es meramente una técnica, hace uso de términos espirituales y, a veces, reclama sanación espiritual en contraste con la medicina tradicional.

 What does the Church teach about Reiki?  What is Reiki?  Reiki is to invoke demons disguised as healing who try to oppress the individual by making them fall into their lies and remain trapped forever to lead them to perdition.
 If you go to the Metaphysics section of a conventional bookstore, you see that they can have many books on philosophy, theology, prayers, but you can also find many books that deal with magic, spells, bewitches, New Age, Reiki and other forms of therapy  .
 Many people who resort to such practices are desperate for suffering;  instead of resorting to many of the devotional practices of Catholicism and trusting in Divine Providence, they are dragged by other methods that seek to bring them healing, including the techniques used by the New Age movement and Reiki.
 The Doctrine Committee of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of the United States addressed the issue of the use of Reiki in its 2009 document: "Guidelines for Evaluating Reiki as an Alternative Therapy".
 The bishops pointed out that the Church recognizes two types of healing: healing by divine grace and healing that uses the powers of nature (medicines extracted from plants or animals).

 What is Reiki?

 Reiki is a technique that states that illness is the result of an interruption or imbalance in the "energy" of one's life.  Through the position of the hands, Reiki practitioners try to channel the "universal vital energy" to the patient for healing and balance.  While practitioners claim that Reiki is merely a technique, it makes use of spiritual terms and sometimes claims spiritual healing in contrast to traditional medicine.
